A really considered reply, Angelique, would take us a long way away from
the original problem of Little Father Time and the sufferings of children in
the working classes in Victorian and previous times. It just seems to me
that today's social attitudes are more effective in caring for the poor
victims - and that our great efforts for a better world should apply to
other objects.
