Happy New Year to all-

I have just uploaded a stimulating new review of John Glendening's *The
Evolutionary Imagination in Late-Victorian Novels: An Entangled Bank *written
by Jessica Webb, a Ph.D. student at Cardiff University. Many of you will
know Jessica as the first recipient of the Robert C. Schweik Memorial Award
for her outstanding graduate student paper, 'Religion, Sorcery, and
Suffering Men: Witchcraft in *Jude the Obscure,'* presented at HaY.

The review can be accessed on TTHA's Members' Research Resources Page
through:

New TTHA members are always welcome and can sign up at:

As Jessica promises to be an outstanding Hardy scholar, I hope you enjoy
reading her review.

Wishing you health and happiness in 2008,
Kathie
