Hello Everyone I have uploaded the latest additions to the Checklist today which include a wide range of Hardy resources including books and articles on Hardy, reviews and recordings.
It has been a good year for Hardy on spoken word with Julie Christie reading Far From the Madding Crowd, Peter Joyce reading Under the Greenwood Tree and Robert Powell, Lindsay Duncan and Martin Shaw reading The Best of Thomas Hardy. The Checklist also includes references to no less than three different readings of the Tomalin biography. Unusually, this update also features a graphic novel loosely based on Far From the Madding Crowd which was reviewed by Mick Imlah in this week's TLS. Thanks to a team of international scholars, our TTHA Checklist is the most up to date and comprehensive bibliographic resource for Hardy academics and enthusiasts. We would like to extend our wide ranging coverage still further; so if you feel you could assist us by checking resources your assistance would be very welcome. Please contact me off-list if you would like to know more. The Checklist is available to TTHA members and can be accessed via the TTHA's Members' Research Resources Page athttp://www.yale.edu/hardysoc/Members/MRRHome.htmIf you are not currently a member of the TTHA you are very welcome to join and have access to our comprehensive bibliographic resources on Hardy and our extensive reviews pages.
