[Hardy-l] Henry Reed 1914-1986

Henry Reed, an English radio dramatist, obtained an MA at Brimingham University in 1936 with a thesis on Thomas Hardy. All through his life he was working on a Biography of Hardy, which was never completed or published.
  The whereabouts of Reed's notes on Hardy as far as I am aware are apparently not known (including in the Reed archive at Birmingham University) - or are they? Has anyone any information? Has his thesis been published?
