[Hardy-l] New production of Tess

The use of "lavish" alerts my sensors of flim-flam over substance.  I hope it means a well-resourced production!

To show a perhaps statistically more accurate picture of opinion I totally disagree with Paul over the relative merits of the two recentish versions of "Tess".  And now I'll get back to my plumbing and domestic electrics!

  Interesting indeed, and here's hoping it will be better than the Justine Waddell version (though Polanski's film, I think, will be hard to top).
