[Hardy-l] Ruskin

Thanks for this, Betty, but I was specifically looking for the comments on
gargoyles. I just wondered if, when Hardy describes the gargoyle, he is also
embracing Ruskin's views on working class liberty etc. and wondered if there
is any evidence as to Hardy's views on Ruskin's views regarding this. So far
as I said I have come up with a blank and I wondered if the fact that there
have been no replies to my email other than your kind offering indicates
that there is no evidence.
