Very interesting Paul- and thanks for the update.

A while back a movie guy called me from the UK (forget his name) to ask for
tips for the Cheyenne movie -- I suggested a ranch in Canada (ranch life
being less raw/hick in that country -- or so I thought at the time) -- so
I'm pleased they are using the ranch idea. When they asked for an
equivalent of the gathering of Bathsheba-critics at the Malthouse -- where
all the gossiping and superstitions flourish -- I suggested a local sleazy
bar so we'll see what they do about that. I'm glad they are giving Liddy a
large part. She is, after all, the only woman Bathsheba can confide in and
rely upon in a world made by men for men (as she puts it). Hardy is good on
women supporting women. I hope they don't put a different slant on Liddy.

Enough gossip for a Monday morning!

Cheers
Rosemarie
