[Hardy-l] The grotesque in Hardy

Welcome back Jackie!  And congratulations on the thorough research  
you've completed already.  Although I can't add to you extensive list  
of secondary sources, I would be interested to hear some of examples  
you've chosen from the primary work to illustrate your thesis.  Along  
with the novel are you also considering short stories like  "The  
Withered Arm", and poems like  "The Newcomer's Wife"?
