We wuz eastendered!

Having just seen the latest adaption I am prompted to proclaim myself 
Founder and President of The International Agency for the Prevention of 
Abuse of Classical Literature (IAPALC).

Swearing, gratuitous sex,  titillating images, outrageous invented scenes 
and a general nastification are some of the reasons for my disappointment 
with a wasted 4 hour opportunity.
