Sorry, sent this to POTM again instead of Forum -another mistake!

Although Rosemarie says, "Hardy's word "folly" seems more honest", it is actually Angel's word - and he would term it thus, wouldn't he? 

As far as the rest of tonight is concerned, I know Rosemarie can usually take a joke, but I hadn't counted on her missing it so completely. I did flag it with 'modern' and 'satire'. Joan Rivers is really not that modern, but I don't know any C19 female comedians who made an equally pithy jibe regarding the double-standards experienced by Tess. 

I am truly amazed that briefly straying off the beaten track in response to Rosemarie missing the point has aroused such indignation in Paul, for he certainly hasn't responded so sharply to those who stray, and they regularly do, on POTM. 

Thank goodness for Keith's positive remark regarding my contribution to the Tess discussion. Thank you.
