[Hardy-l] Apology #2

Heavens--I didn't even realize that my reply went to the Poetry list. . that's what I get for just hitting the "reply" button!  Anyway, for those who wondered just what Carolyn was replying to, this is what I wrote:
 
  

"Indignation?"  Gads, what did I write that suggested I was indignant?  Just surprised that one as wise as our Rosemarie didn't know who Joan Rivers was!  I see again my puckishness has fallen with all the grace of--well, to borrow from a different comedian--a hockey puck!
 
 
Not that this is deathless literature. . .

I am glad you were being puckish and am sorry that I had misinterpreted your, 'As if this has anything to do with Hardy. . .". Maybe it was that comment combined with Rosemarie's subsequent response that threw me.

Anyway, not feeling quite so bemused now... and I hope life cheers up for you abit, or there is something extraordinarily good on TV!
