Roy-- when someone sends to the  *Hardy Review* editor  a piece for print 
publication the author  only has in mind the print publication of his/her 
work,  which is and would be a great achievement in such a prestigious 
journal. .  Their aim isn't to make their research "cheaper" for you, a 
non-subscriber, to view.

On the other hand I think the TTHA team makes such a wealth of information 
and research scholarship freely available to all -- voluntarily and unpaid 
--  that perhaps you are getting spoiled?
