Dear all-
I have just posted a new review of Ruth Bernard Yeazell's *art of the
everyday: Dutch Painting and the Realist Novel.* I found Yeazell's
exploration of the relationship between 17th century Dutch painting and the
19th century novel thoughtful, and I hope that you will find my review
interesting. As soon as I have permission from the National Gallery to use
an image, I hope to add an illustration of the Hobbema that Hardy so
admired.
The review can be accessed on TTHA's Members' Research Resources Page
