I agree, if this lady feels that Hardy is the 'most neglected' then she
needs to take a look at the English (and Welsh) examination board
curriculae. I am constantly tutoring on Hardy, both novels and poetry...
thank goodness.
Then again, I suppose there has been a plethora of Austen adaptations on tv
and film recently
I was surprised that she would think TH the "most neglected," given the
several recent film adaptations (granted, not necessarily from the BBC), the
several recent biographies, reprints of his novels, etc. etc.
Comments, anyone?
