i had a thought about Tess. There is good love and bad love. and alec is an evil person and angel a good person and tess falls in love with angel some people submit to bad love but not tess
i used to read the bible and in it God seems to like virgins that cry for help and i felt that this is a novel about  a virgin
its also a christian story angel really has a devotion to Tess and i like hte purity of their love i read tess at 17 and again at 27 and i think it was a good influence i left a boyfriend and said an attractive girl is a virgin and not someone with a boyfriend

and i like hte pure love of the story i was exposed to dennis prager and he has talks on male sexuality and he likes gentlemans clubs and says monogamy o God no
andsome people are so into flesh and pleasure
and  i used to read st paula nd he says lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God and dont live by the flesh live by the spirit

Good observations.

Compared to its predecessors this dramatization seemed more generous in its treatment of all the characters -- Alec in particular.  I was pleased with this thoughtful approach.
