[hardy-l] "Oh--" ....censorship!

The recent TV TESS can be viewed on the PBS website, and I went there to see if any of these "US censorship" problems appeared on the Net. Well! As to the "Oh--" scene (which occurs when Alec first appears to Tess on the road to Kingsbere, not at Flintcombe Ash, as I first wrote), NOTHING is heard from Tess, not even an "Oh." I also looked at the nursing-of-Sorrow sequence, which looked blurry to me as well. Online, it isn't just blurry--a BLOB appears over Gemma Arterton's breast. Good grief. . .well, as the saying goes, on American TV you can show a man shooting a woman in the breast, but you can't show him kissing it.

Unbelievable. . .
