[hardy-l] Nursing Sorrow

Have now checked the UK version of the 2008 Tess, as broadcast by the BBC - there is no evidence 
of any attempt to hide or disguise Tess' breast as Sorrow latches on - so the fuzziness detected in
the US must be home-grown prudery.

I suspect that Hardy would have been amused to find Mrs Grundy's descendants alive & well 
in the 21st Century. But then Dorchester provided its fair share of Pilgrim Fathers.

Puritanism rules ok?
