Congratulations to Betty and to all contributors without whom this ship 
would not sail.

Although many -- -students especially -- come and go, I want to pass on to 
you their warm thanks, which come to me personally,  and their deep 
appreciation as they make their way onward through their  studies. It's 
always wonderful to receive this feedback! I think many graduating students 
feel shy about broadcasting their achievement publicly and so I happen to 
be the lucky recipient of their gratitude.  But this is a very good time 
for broadcasting  -- on their behalf -- the  fact that TTHA's resources and 
the Forum discussions make (they say) "all the difference."  This is 
especially relevant to those in far flung places who often feel isolated 
until they discover TTHA.

And to those who continue on to higher degrees (and there are many) I'd 
like to send the very best of good wishes on behalf of my  generous 
-hearted colleagues here at TTHA and friends of Thomas Hardy everywhere.

Perhaps some of you will one day return to join us on the Association's 
board of directors?  Yay!
