[hardy-l] Thomas Hardy -Interesting look-alike

There is an interesting photographic image presently for auction on  
eBay. The sellers are convinced it's Hardy but the too narrow face  
and the nose shape, as well as the fact that 'Hardy' is not wearing  
the de rigeur tie or cravat, suggests not ! But at first glance . . .
