[hardy-l] Hardys at Bockhampton

I recently came upon a statement to the effect that the Hardy family  
experienced the same fate as Tess's family, eviction from their  
cottage at Bockhampton once their lease had expired.  But I had  
always thought that the Hardys were allowed to stay on at the cottage  
after the death of Hardy senior in 1892.  Can anyone clarify this  
point for me?  Many thanks.
