Dear All,

Today we reached a modest milestone on the Forum.  Since our list's  
inception back in 1997 one thousand individuals have subscribed to it  
at one time or another. Subscribers have come and gone over the  
years, and we currently have 219 active members.  Considering the  
fact that this is a one-author mailing list I believe this is  
something worth celebrating.

Thank you all for your interest and participation.  I believe Hardy  
would have approved.
