[hardy-l] Tess Conclusion

In response to Judith's email, have just checked The Graphic serial version of Tess, the final paragraph
of which also begins:

"Justice" was done and Time, the Anti-Satirist, had had his joke with Tess.

This must therefore be Hardy's original published script, subsequently revised to the phrase so well known
to us all.
