O, bless the Internet! When I was looking for the proper pronunciation of John Buchan's surname for the Spy Literature course I'm teaching, I found the Merriam-Webster online dictionary has an audio pronunciation feature. Here's how M-W renders it:

Of course, I also found a Bible site with an audio pronunciation, and it was rendered "Lay-odyssey-ah," so I guess it's all relative.
