Thanks, as always, Betty, for your leadership.

I puzzle with the "their encompassment." Is it their being encompassed  
by the relationship, the lyrical loss of time of stanza one? Or are  
the lovers doing the encompassing, and if so, what receives the  
action, as the direct object—perhaps the world, as they feel like they  
are the only creatures around?

"Zone" is also strange in the final line. I can't get the sense of  
"time zone" out of my head, since the words are located so close to  
one another. Perhaps the sense of age, of zones of youth, middle-aged,  
senior adult (or, as one church terms it, "golden treasures?" Or is it  
a geographic zone, with the sense of travel and movement?
