[Ttha-potm] re: Runic Stone

In the hope of steering things back to more favourable
(to me)poetic matters )may I raise
a query in my mind about stanza three
(of Runic Stone)?
It seems that line 4 is referring to
both the die and the dent.
If so, I read the die as having not been
observed and its implication therefore not
grasped after its heedless casting.
So far so good.
What puzzles me though is line 2, which seems
to require the word "and" to follow the comma
if the "dent" is the second unknown item covered by line 4.

Am I missing something else here?

Roy Buckle.
