Quite right:I was referring to both streams of comments.

What goes on in your head as you read the poem is your mystery, Carolyn.
The rhythmic form of the stanzas does not engage me one bit.
It seems indifferently irregular and has no musical resonance, 
AND or no AND.
I suppose my ideas abot this might alter if the plan were a 
musical setting of the words.   A setting that perhaps catches 
some of the ideas emotionally can be heard at

but should not be too closely followed for it may be just in my head!
Still, may we all continue to learn from one another.
