[Ttha-potm] New Review of Martin Ray's 'Thomas Hardy Remembered'

Dear all-

It is really a testimony to the enduring interest in Hardy that so many
first rate scholars and enthusiasts are willing to review for TTHA.  Each
review presents a thoughtful perspective -- and,  I believe that by offering
multiple reviews, we are encouraging our members to actively partake in an
enriched, ongoing dialogue.  This exchange between different voices, as
Rosemarie suggests, also complements the forum and potm interactions.  What
a fantastic resource we have!

Keith's review exemplifies the high standard that we hope to achieve.  If
you have not already read it, please do -- and, then you will want to read
Martin Ray's book without delay.

I think we should aim to publish multiple reviews of the books that we know
will stimulate an interesting, provocative dialogue.  We are all looking
forward to the much anticipated and soon-to-be released publication of
Pamela Dalziel and Michael Millgate's *Thomas Hardy's 'Poetical Matter'
Notebook.  *Rosemarie has already agreed to review it for TTHA -- and, if
you would also be interested, please contact me directly.
