[Ttha-potm] 'full-up'

I think TH has got a bit caught up with the alliteration: the 'grey gaunt days dividing 'and 'hopeless hills' are maybe crying out for 'full-up measures of felicity', but it does sound clumsy - it's sort of kitchen sink rather than dining table, and the rest of the poem is definitely dining table. 'Fulsome' would conote insincerity so, as the idea of completeness and fullness is more important than the alliteration, I have come up with 'brimming'. Unfortunately, I note that this apparently also means a female pig in season ready to receive the boar, so maybe that's another reason for not choosing it. The whole poem, for all its attempted elegance, makes me think of cups half empty rather than cups half full,
so I'm not that keen on it at the moment. It's still the 1st of the month - just about - so there's still plenty of time to change my mind about this POTM!

best wishes
