Dear All,

Let me remind you that this Mailing List has been generously provided  
to TTHA by California State University, San Marcos, for the explicit  
purpose of furthering scholarly debate. Our policy has always been to  
keep the discussions as open, and with as few rules as possible.  Our  
main goal is to keep the discussion focussed on the particular poem  
for the month.  Personal differences, and certainly remarks that  
might be offensive to other members are unacceptable.  I would be  
very reluctant to place any of our members on the list of those whose  
messages require my approval before being forwarded to the list, so I  
sincerely request that your posts are worded in such a way that this  
step can be avoided. Let's ensure that courtesy toward others be  
maintained at all times.
